I just observed a class with high schoolers at The Paley Center for Media where they were looking at the portrayal of women as mothers in tv shows. One of the clips was from “My So-Called Life.” When asked if any of the students recognized this show not one raised their hands. NOT ONE.
My hope and faith in the next generation dropped a bit today.
Tragic.
Terrible, I’ve done my best to sit through the one lone season of this awesome show with my lil’ sis, but i can’t help out the entire generation. they are missing out …
